Méndez Girón stated that “As of Friday, the system is expected to intensify into a hurricane and move parallel to the coasts of the states of Michoacán, Colima and Jalisco, and the place of impact of the hurricane will depend on the movement of an anticyclonic system. located in the northwest of the country and in the center of the Pacific coast.

Because of this, he said, the possible places of impact could be the coasts of Jalisco, Colima and Nayaritbefore which he asked the population of the aforementioned states to be attentive to the notices of the SMN and Civil Protection.

The head of the SMN explained that, On its way, the system will leave intense rains in the states of Oaxaca, Guerrero, Michoacán, Colima, Jalisco, Nayarit and southern Sinaloa.
