Subject injures 3 people with a knife at the Chabacano station of the CDMX Metro | VIDEO

The Metro reported that this morning Institutional Security staff of the agency and the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of the Mexico City assigned to the Chabacano station of Line 9 arrested a person who allegedly injured a male, as well as two women, with a knife.

According to witnesses, the fight originated inside a car on Line 9where a 50-year-old man sexually harassed a woman, so, realizing the situation, other users defended the assaulted woman.

The alleged aggressor was arrested by security elements of the Auxiliary Police and transferred to the Public Ministry.

The injured people were assessed by paramedics from the SSC’s Rescue and Emergency Medical Squad (ERUM). Meanwhile, Metro staff coordinated the transfer of the injured man to a hospital and will provide timely follow-up care for the victims.

The Metro urged to report any type of aggression that occurs inside the facilities to the security personnel assigned to the platforms.
