There is still the possibility that Bolsonaro could speak about the defeat he suffered the day before against former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on Monday, according to what the acting president of the PP, the re-elected federal deputy Claudio Cajado, said earlier.

Until now, almost 24 hours after the defeat against Lula, the president has not recognized his opponent’s victory. He spent the day in private meetings at the Alvorada Palace and the Planalto Palace without speaking to the press or using social media.

Faria also said that Bolsonaro is discussing with the country’s attorney general, Bruno Bianco, measures to guarantee the unblocking of highways in various Brazilian states.

“This is being dealt with directly with the AGU (General Advocacy of the Union), to try to resolve it with Bruno Bianco, the person responsible for this,” Faria said.
