Argentina: Cristina Kirchner announces that she will recuse the judge of the case for the attack she suffered in September

The Vice President of Argentina, Cristina Kirchnerwill request the recusal of the investigating judge of the case for the attack committed against her on September 1, María Eugenia Capuchetti, considering that she “paralyzed and boycotted the investigation.”

According to the message published this Thursday on her official account on the social network Twitter, the alleged connections between those responsible for the attack and opposition politicians were not investigated by the magistrate, despite the fact that, she denounces, she was aware of them.

“I want to share with you the following video. As a result of the facts that you are going to see and hear, I have instructed my lawyers to recuse Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti”, wrote the former president (2007-2015).

The message includes a 3.06-minute video, in which, in addition to recalling the images of the attack suffered at the doors of his house and identifying two of the three young people prosecuted and detained in the case, Fernando Sabag Montiel Y Brenda Uliarteconnects them with members of the Republican Proposal party (PRO, center-right), formation of his successor in the Executive, Mauricio Macri (2015-2019).
