Texas man dies after dancing on moving trailer bed

A 25-year-old man defied life by getting on the bed of a moving trailer that was advancing on one of the main avenues in Houston, Texas.

He died on the bed of the 18-wheeler after failing to dodge a overpass. The man was reportedly struck by the underside of the bridge and instantly crushed.

A video circulating on social networks, taken by a driver who was behind the truck, shows that the young man was juggling the box, he even began to dance and waddle carelessly.

When the truck goes over one of the bridges on the road Eastex Freeway, The man manages to dodge it and ducks, but he does not realize that meters ahead there is another overpass.

The images show the seconds before the tragedysince it is cut just at the moment when the man is crushed by the structure.

The driver of the trailer did not realize that he was carrying an extra passenger in the box, so he proceeds on the normal path, although at a slow speed due to traffic.

The person who recorded the video told the local Fort Worth Star-Telegram that when he passed through the area of ​​the incident, there were pieces of the man’s body and blood scattered on the asphalt.

“I saw pieces of blood on the ground. I saw the contorted body and the broken neck and arm. It was a horrible way to start the day. It was traumatic for me and for everyone there. They all had the look of, why? Why did that have to happen?” she said.

Another witness pointed out that the accident was traumatic for all the drivers who were behind the truck, since they were not expected to die.

“I was about four cars behind and I couldn’t believe my eyes. My hand covered my mouth in disbelief and sadness coursed through me.”

The stranger was taken to the nearest hospital, but upon arrival they declared dead. He reportedly died from multiple blunt force injuries.

Investigations by the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division suggest that the man climbed into the trailer bed with the intention of recording his adventure with the phone, hence the risky dances and movements; however, no device was found at the scene.

Users of social networks Those who witnessed the tragedy and came across the images commented that no one tried to stop the boy despite the risk, nor did they notify the driver until after the body fell “in pieces” on the road.

The police questioned the driver and then he released him since he had no idea that the young man was going up and that he had nothing to do with his reaching that height.

“We haven’t had a case like this in quite some time,” said the Houston Police Department spokesman involved in the investigation.
