According to the Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs Information Portal (Orphanet), This disease affects one person in every 20 thousand cases in the world, and consequently the Qatari lived his life with half a body after losing a large part of his bones.

In fact, this diagnosis was given to their parents even before they were born. According to what he says on his official page, before Ghanim’s birth, many people had suggested that his mother abort him, since they believed that this would save them from the suffering that this disability would bring them. Even so, his parents decided to have their son and be there to help him at all times.
