According to the Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs Information Portal (Orphanet), This disease affects one person in every 20 thousand cases in the world, and consequently the Qatari lived his life with half a body after losing a large part of his bones.

In fact, this diagnosis was given to their parents even before they were born. According to what he says on his official page, before Ghanim’s birth, many people had suggested that his mother abort him, since they believed that this would save them from the suffering that this disability would bring them. Even so, his parents decided to have their son and be there to help him at all times.

This was the great beginning of the story of a resilient man capable of overcoming any obstacle. from a very young age he cultivated a personality and mental strength that have helped him survive against all odds, who, with his leadership and empathy, has become an internet sensation.

Ghanim is a content creator who tells his daily life through video blogs, showing their achievements and experiences to be able to help in some way those who also have a disability.

And this can be evidenced in the first place in the activities he does. The 20-year-old likes to participate in extreme sports such as scuba diving, skateboarding, and rock climbing. He is an expert in soccer and in 2015 he was named as the Youth Ambassador of the World Paralympic Athletics Championships.

On the other hand, in April 2022, The Soccer World Cup Committee announced the appointment of Al Muftah as the official ambassador of the tournament, which is celebrated for the first time in the Middle East.

The news was made public through his Twitter account with a trill that said: “It is a great honor for me to announce that I have been selected as Official Ambassador of the 2022 FIFA World Cupand I look forward to sharing with you the enthusiasm and excitement on our road to the tournament.”

But this has not been his only achievement. Ghanim is also studying international business in London, England, which has helped fuel his success in activism-related businesses, social media, and his ice cream business.
