An influencer has come up with an irreversible plan to get Elon Musk’s attention – by getting his name tattooed on his forehead.

Rodrigo America from Belo Horizonte in Brazil said the multimillionaire Twitter owner is his idol.

The influencer told local media: “Elon Musk has no explanation for me.

“What he’s doing, what he’s going to do, take people to Mars, his name will go down in history. He is an inspiration to me.”

Mr. Musk’s name is written in indelible large letters on Rodrigo’s forehead, next to a rather phallic-looking missile.

Rodrigo said it was his way of volunteering for the tycoon’s much-anticipated journey to Mars, which his company SpaceX hopes to complete by 2024.

The influencer, who has more than 490,000 followers on Instagram, explained that he has been obsessed with the alien for several years.

“In 2016 I was a prison officer,” he explained.

“I sat there for two hours when a little thing with a big head passed in front of me and I heard a voice say, ‘Seek knowledge.’

“After that day when I asked to leave, I didn’t want to work in the system anymore.”

He now has over 10 alien tattoos all over his body.

“I don’t know if it’s an obsession, but I do know that life on other planets is very relevant,” Rodrigo said. “I really believe it.

“I have a 20-year-old daughter, she knows all this. She knows that if I go to Mars one day, it will be for the good of humanity.”

Musk has come under scrutiny in recent weeks for his takeover of Twitter, which has led to a mass exodus of employees.

Twitter staff rejected an ultimatum from Mr Musk to create “Twitter 2.0”, and he also reinstated former US President Donald Trump on the platform.

Meanwhile, eight former SpaceX employees have sued the company, claiming they were fired for speaking out against CEO and founder Mr Musk.
