Ukraine announced the arrest of an employee of the Russian pre-trial detention center in Kherson

The suspect was thus arrested for “high treason,” the press release said, a charge that could be worth a life sentence in Ukraine. According to the same source, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office is investigating.

On Monday, Ukrainian prosecutors said they found four “torture sites” used by the Russians in Kherson before their forced retreat from the region ten days ago.
