At least 438 children have been killed in Ukraine by Russian attacks, according to kyiv

“As of the morning of November 23, 2022, more than 1,279 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation,” indicated the Prosecutor’s Office.

According to official information from the juvenile prosecutors, “438 children were killed and at least 841 were injured.”

The institution pointed out that these figures are not definitive, since work is still being carried out to determine the real number of casualties in the areas where the hostilities are active, that is, where there are combats between both sides.

Prosecutors noted that they also cannot confirm the deaths that have occurred so far in the territories that remain Russian-occupied and in those that have been recently liberated.

Prosecutors highlighted the death of a newborn baby early this morning when a hospital maternity ward was attacked in Vilniansk, in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Due to shelling and attacks of various kinds carried out by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, a total of 2,719 Ukrainian educational institutions were damaged and 332 of them were completely destroyed, according to the source.
