Seven mass shootings in USA registered in a week have left a total of 23 dead and 33 injured. The epidemic of armed attacks is unstoppable in the country
So far in 2022, there have been 607 mass shootings in USA. In these attacks, at least 3,179 people have been shot, of whom 637 have been killed, according to data from the Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit organization that tracks incidents of gun violence across the country.

According to CNN, the Gun Violence Archive defines a mass shooting as one in which at least four people are shot, excluding the shooter.
In 2021, the Gun Violence Archive tallied 690 mass shootings, making it the worst year on record since the group began tracking gun attacks in 2014. There were 645 deaths.

According to CNN, the pace of mass shootings in 2022 is part of a three-year uptick that began in 2020. Between 2019 and 2020, the total number of mass shootings for the entire year increased from 417 to 610.
This is the list of shootings that occurred in the last week:
1-. On November 18, in Richmond, Virginia: 4 dead
A college student and former football player fatally shot three former teammates in the University of Virginia.
Christopher Darnell Jones Jr.a 22-year-old student at the University of Virginia (UVA), was arrested for the attack.
According to the Henrico County Police Department, Jones was arrested “without incident” in a suburb of Richmondabout 120 kilometers southeast of the UVA campus in Charlottesville.
Jones had previously come to the attention of the school’s “threat assessment” team after a report that he possessed a weapon, but none were discovered on him then.
The shooting took place on a bus as students were returning from a field trip, according to UVA President Jim Ryan, who said the dead were members of the football team.
2.- On November 19 in Colorado Springs, 5 dead and 17 injured
Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, opened fire at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springswestern United States, leaving five dead and twenty wounded.
The attacker was subdued by two assistants to the Club Q after firing into the crowd with an assault rifle. He is currently in custody and waiting for charges to be filed..
The attack was the deadliest against the LGBTQ community in the United States since a 2016 mass shooting at a nightclub in Orlando, Florida, that claimed 49 lives.
GLAAD, an advocacy organization for the LGBTQ community, said the Q Club shooting occurred on the eve of Transgender Remembrance Day, celebrated internationally on November 20 to honor victims of transphobic attacks, and in the midst of a increased hostility against that group in the United States.
3) On November 19 in Washington Park, Illinois, 1 dead and 3 wounded
A 13-year-old teenager was killed and three other minors were injured in a shooting in Washington Park, Ill. on Saturday afternoon. All were attacked from a moving vehicle.
Johnny R. McCline was pronounced dead at the scene, according to St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr.
Illinois State Police said the attack happened at Bunkum Road and 45th Street around 5:20 p.m. The three injured victims were taken to the hospital.
There is no information about the attacker.
4.- On November 19 in Philadelphia, Mississippi, 1 dead and 6 wounded
One person was killed and several others were shot during a craps game in Philadelphia, Mississippi.
The Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office said a group of people were enjoying a campfire and music at Wells Ranch around 12:30 a.m. when an apparent disagreement over a craps game led to the shooting.
Sheriff Jake Sheriff confirmed that seven people were shot.
The deceased victim was identified as Christopher Turnage, 27, of Yazoo County.
5.- On November 20, in Hennessey, Oklahoma, 4 dead 1 injured
Wu Chen, 45, murdered four people on a marijuana farm in Oklahoma, in the southwestern United States. After the crime, he escaped but was detained by the Miami Beach police in South Florida.
The arrest was made thanks to a “plate reader” placed on a street in Miami Beach that alerted the passage of a vehicle that was associated with the man wanted by justice.
On November 20, three Chinese men and one woman were shot to death at a rural marijuana-growing property in Hennessey, about 55 miles (88 km) northwest of Oklahoma City, and another Chinese national was wounded and he was transferred to a hospital.
6.- On November 22 in West Palm Beach, Florida, 2 dead and 2 injured
Two people were killed and two others injured in a shooting in a neighborhood near West Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to a shooting in the 600 block of Snead Circle in the Lake Belvedere Estates community around 6:30 a.m.
Agents found all four victims with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. Three women were taken to area hospitals to be treated for their injuries, but one of the victims later died at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Police arrested 22-year-old Eric Walker on charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
7.- On November 22, in Chesapeake, Virginia, 7 dead, 4 injured
Andre Bing, a supermarket manager Walmartshot six people to death at a store in Virginia and then killed himself.
Four other people were hospitalized. The attack occurred on Tuesday night in the city of Chesapeake.
The 31-year-old attacker was armed with a pistol and several chargers.
Walmart, the largest US retailer, confirmed that Bing was a night shift manager and had been employed by the company since 2010.
Briana Tyler, a Walmart employee who survived the attack, described scenes of terror as the attacker entered a staff break room and opened fire.
“I wasn’t targeting anyone specifically,” Tyler told ABC. “He literally started shooting all over the break room and I saw multiple people fall to the floor.”
