France: one dead, several injured and 200 evacuated after house fire in Nice

One person was killed on the night from Friday to Saturday, several more were injured -one of them was between life and death when she was hospitalized-, and more than 200 had to be evacuated by the fire of a residential building in the French city of Nice (southeast).

in your account Twitterthe Nice firefighters explained that 46 members of the body were involved in the work of extinguishing the fire that “Unfortunately” caused “A victim” mortal.

After receiving the alert, the firefighters arrived at around 10:30 p.m. local time (21:30 GMT) on Friday at the boulevard Count of Faliconwhere the 13-storey building in which the fire broke out in an apartment on the fourth floor is located.

On his Twitter account, the mayor of the city, Christian Estrosiexplained that between 200 and 250 inhabitants had to be evacuated and some of them spent the night and were able to receive psychological help at a nearby school.

Estrosi, who did not comment on the reason for the accident, indicated that the objective was that this Saturday they could already recover their personal belongings.
