The Pope Francisco today summoned the authorities of Israel Y Palestine to seek dialogue and “rebuild trust”, after lamenting the victims of the attack on Wednesday in Jerusalem and the crashes in west bank.
”Dear brothers and sisters, I am following with concern the increase in violence and clashes that have been taking place for months in the State of Palestine and Israel.”he recognized from the window of the Apostolic Palace after the Sunday Angelus prayer.

The pontiff denounced the two “vile” attacks with explosives that shook Jerusalem last Wednesday, which initially resulted in the death of a minor and fourteen injured (a second person who was hospitalized died this Saturday).
That same day another teenager, a 16-year-old Palestinian, was killed by Israeli army fire in Nablus, a city in the north of the occupied West Bank where soldiers were protecting a group of Israeli civilians who were going to pray at Joseph’s tomb. (Subsequently, another 22-year-old was shot dead).

“Violence kills the future, tearing apart the lives of the youngest and weakening hopes for peace,” The Pope said before the faithful who were listening to him in Saint Peter’s Square, to later pray for these victims and “in particular for their mothers.”
“I hope that the Israeli and Palestinian authorities have more at heart the search for dialogue to build mutual trust without which there will never be a peace solution in the Holy Land”, urged the pontiff, who once again called for an end to violence in the Ukraine invaded by Russia.
