The body of a girl was found today in one of the houses destroyed by the landslide on the Italian island of Ischia (south), the second confirmed fatality, while a dozen missing persons continue to be searched in the mud.

The body was found in a room flooded by mud and corresponds to a girl of “5 or 6 years of age” still to be identified, as confirmed to EFE by sources from the prefecture of Naples, which coordinates the work.
