An employee of the Embassy of Ukraine in Madrid has been slightly injured this Wednesday after the explosion of a device at the headquarters of the diplomatic legation, and has been evacuated to a hospital, police sources informed Efe.

According to the sources, the explosive was in an envelope that the injured employee received.
The Police have activated the anti-terrorist protocol and have cordoned off the area where the Ukrainian embassy is located in the northeast of the capital of Spain.

Specialized troops in the deactivation of explosives have been moved to the place, in addition to other police units.
For the moment, the embassy has not wanted to confirm the event or make statements about it.
