“The support that the United States and other countries give him is clear. They have to end that support.” said the head of Turkish diplomacy, who is participating in the NATO ministerial summit that ends today in Bucharest, according to the Anadolu agency.

Turkey has spent years accusing the United States of providing assistance to that group, which it considers to be the Syrian branch of the Kurdish guerrillas active in Turkey, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, and which is considered terrorist by the United States and the European Union.

The accusations have intensified after the attack in Istanbul that on November 13 caused six deaths and of which the Turkish government accuses the YPG and the PKK, who have denied any participation in it.

Cavusoglu assured today that he has transmitted to the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, that “the terrorists responsible for the attack on Istanbul” did so with the support of Washington.

Turkey has responded to the attack with bombings on Kurdish positions in Iraq and Syria and renewing the warning it has been making for months to launch a new ground military operation in this country.

“We expect the support of the allies. We told them that we don’t want to see statements that try to portray terrorists as victims. US support for terrorist organizations in Syria is obvious.”said the Turkish minister from Bucharest.

“Our fight against terrorism will continue, with determination, both in Iraq and in Syria, and throughout the world”warned the Turkish minister.
