Through the Madrid Forum, parliamentarians from America and Europe reject leftist “interference” in Peru

More than a hundred parliamentarians from America and Europe denounce in a joint statement the leftist “interference” of the governments of Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Bolivia in the public affairs of Peru for calling for the release of the former “coup” president of that country Pedro Castillo.

In the document, signed through the Forum Madridthe parliamentarians refer to the statement from these four countries published on December 12, in which they continue to consider Castle head of state and “victim of undemocratic harassment.”

As reported Forum Madrid On its website, deputies and senators from 16 countries on both continents “categorically” reject the recent “coup d’état” perpetrated by Castillo on December 7, as he ordered “unconstitutionally” the closure of Congress and the reorganization of the system of Justice.

“His only objective -according to the signatory parliamentarians- was to evade Justice and not respond to the multiple complaints and investigations for corruption in which the coup leader is involved. By publishing the joint communiqué, the leftist presidents of Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Bolivia incur in a clear political interference in the internal affairs of Peru”.

In this sense, The signatories of the Madrid Forum declaration also alert and condemn the “intention of the communist and criminal governments of Cuba and Venezuela, sponsored by the São Paulo Forum and the Puebla Group, to destabilize Peru.”

On the contrary, members of the Peruvian Congress dismissed Castle of the Presidency of the Republic to “fervently defend the rule of law, freedom and democracy in their country, assure the American and European parliamentarians.

Director of Forum MadridEduardo Cader, said that this entity “supports the members of the Peruvian Congress and trusts that the competent Peruvian institutions will protect the integrity of the congressmen, their families and that of the entire Peruvian people”.

Among the signatories are members of the European Parliament of Spain, Austria, Bulgaria, Poland and the Netherlands from the group of conservatives and reformists (ECR) and from the ID group; from the opposition party WE BELIEVE from bolivianthe complete benches of the Republican Party of Chili and the National Party of Honduras, according to FMadrid gold.

Also deputies and senators from the Colombian opposition party Centro Democrático; senators from various political parties Paraguayandeputies of Uruguay and Ecuador, from the ARENA party of The Savior and Argentine parliamentarians from the La Libertad Avanza party. In Spain, several representatives of the party have signed this statement vox.

Forum Madrid defines itself as an international alliance in defense of freedom, democracy and the rule of law. Among its objectives is “to generate awareness at the international level about the consequences of the advance of the extreme left, its ideological agenda and its failed system of government.”
