Last year, the businessman demanded an annulment of the award, arguing that the articles published by these media outlets were based on “false information about non-existent links between the Kremlin and the campaign” of the 2016 election, and alluded to an accusation of false information that He ran the FBI.

Finally, the Pulitzers decided this past July to maintain the National Reporting award for the two media after carrying out two independent reviews, in which they concluded that the winning works were not “disreputable.”d“itated” by events after delivery.

Trump, through his lawyers, considered that message harmful to his reputation and claimed that it would have been “impossible for an objective, comprehensive and independent review to reach that conclusion”, given the “facts that were known” at the time they were supposedly made.

The ex-president added in the document that the message of the Pulitzers includes several falsehoods and that the institution is “the establishment of the establishment”.
