The president of USA, Joe Bidenwill arrive at Mexico on Sunday, a day ahead of schedule, for an official visit and to participate in the North American Summit, the Mexican government reported.
“The President of the United States, Joe Biden, will arrive on Sunday afternoon, January 8, at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport. You will be welcome to Mexico”, pointed out on Twitter the Mexican foreign minister, Marcelo Ebrard.

Biden will travel to Mexico City after visiting the border in El Paso, Texas on Sunday, after announcing this Thursday immigration measures that will allow the entry into that country of up to 30,000 people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela per month, during the next two years.

Originally, the US president, for whom the immigration issue has become an Achilles heel, was scheduled to arrive in the capital on Monday around 1:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. GMT), according to what Ebrard had said earlier.

That day Biden has a meeting scheduled with the Mexican president, Andres Manuel Lopez Obradorand on Tuesday he will participate in the summit together with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
