The tension between Iran and Israel (and how their intelligence services have contributed to it)

Iran just announced the arrest of 13 people who were working as spies for the mossad. According to the Interior Ministry, these people linked to the Israeli intelligence service planned the assassination of a senior Iranian military official, as well as “various acts of sabotage”.

For Tehran it is clear: these terrorist teams wanted to take advantage of the protests that have been taking place since September of last year throughout the Persian nation, in response to the death of Mahsa Amini at the hands of the Government.

In fact, the nation led by the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Maintains that Israel and other countries are the ones that orchestrate these demonstrations.

As the EFE news agency recalls, Israel and Iran hold”a covert war that includes cyberattacks, alleged assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists and sabotage of ships”. Of course: neither of them accepts to be behind the actions.

But since when do they get along?

Deutsche Welle indicates that relations between the two nations date back to 1948, when it was created Israel. The link improved in 1953, when USA set up a dictatorship in Iran: technology was being transferred, their armies were working together, and oil was flowing.
