Bolsonaro to followers: “we made some slips”

The former president of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro spoke with followers in the United States, to whom he told that he made “some slips” during his government, according to a video released on Monday.

“In four years, every day was Monday. Were there holes? Yes, it is logical. We made some slips at home, who will say in the government ”, said Bolsonaro to the followers, as seen in a video published by the Metropoles news portal.

The ex-president of the extreme right, who was defeated at the polls by the leftist leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in October, he left Brazil on December 30, two days before the end of his mandate and the transmission of command.

They destroyed infrastructure, priceless works of art and public property furniture. More than 1,100 people continue to be detained for acts described as “terrorism” by the Lula government, which took office on January 1.

The former president, who remained isolated and practically silent during the last weeks of his presidency, had already condemned the “looting” and denied any connection to the assault.
