A girl asks the US police to do DNA tests on a cookie to determine if Santa Claus exists

A girl from Rhode Island, USA, finally discovered how to determine if Santa Claus is real: DNA. The minor had no better idea than to send a half-eaten cookie and a couple of chewed-up carrot sticks to the Cumberland City Police Department to ask if they could be tested for DNA. The history is viral on social networks.

“I took a sample of a cookie and carrots that I left for Santa and the reindeer on Christmas Eve and I was wondering if you could take a DNA sample and see if Santa is real.” the girl wrote in a letter sent to the Cumberland City Police Department. Her name was not revealed.

Look: Why do U.S. sightings have U.S. on alert?

The clever girl in question found leftover carrots and cookie crumbs left for her by the generous traveler with the white beard and red suit. To her reindeer too, of course. But that these tests have remained prompted her to investigate their existence and true identity of the old pascuero.

The police department reported Friday that bitten carrot sticks and a cookie in half were taken to the police station along with a letter that requests that the evidence be submitted to a DNA test.

According to PAPolice Chief Matthew Benson reported that the evidence sent by the minor was sent the “evidence” to the Forensic Science unit from the state Department of Health for analysis.

“Elements that will be examined for traces of DNA and will be matched against the profiles on file for the aforementioned suspect/alias”says the department statement.

“I took a sample of a cookie and carrots that I left for Santa and the reindeer on New Years Eve and I was wondering if they could do a DNA test to find out if Santa is real”, wrote the girl by hand in a yellow hour. Her name and age were not released.

Benson forwarded the “evidence” to the Department of Forensic and Health Sciences for analysis. Each one was saved and classified as in any other case to be investigated.with measurements of each object to be analyzed and protected from any alteration that obstructs police action.

“Items to be analyzed for traces of DNA and Compared to profiles on record for the aforementioned suspect/aliassays the department form. The report even consists of a night photo where a reindeer appears loose on the street.

The investigation awaits the outcome, although Benson maintained that this young lady obviously has a keen sense for truth and the investigative process, and he did a great job packaging the evidence for presentation. We will do our best to provide you with answers”.
