The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyhas affirmed this Tuesday about the possible shipment of tanks to his country by the allies that “It’s not about five, or ten, or fifteen tanks“, given that “the need is greater”.
“Now there is a lot of talk about tanks. About modern tanks we need. And about how this deficit can be filled. Many efforts, words, promises”, he said in his usual night speech.

But Zelensky has stressed that the “important” is “see reality: it is not about five, nor ten, nor fifteen tanks. The need is greater”.
“We are doing what is necessary every day to fill the deficit -he continued-. And I thank everyone who supports us in this”.
The German government has approved the shipment of “Leopard 2” tanks to Ukraine and is willing to authorize the transfer to that country of at least one company of the “Leopard 2A6” model, according to information from the weekly “Der Spiegel” and the television channel “NTV”.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon affirmed this Tuesday that “for the moment” it has no announcement to make regarding the information that appeared in the press that the United States would be inclined to send to Ukraine Abrams tanks.

In his speech, Zelensky has stated that “discussions should conclude with decisions”.
