Children’s hospital bombed in Kyiv: “Operating room completely destroyed”

Broken glass litters the scorched linoleum. Two bloody gloves lie in the chaos. This is the operating room where death fell from the sky in Kiev on Monday, July 8, at 10 a.m. A missile fired by Russia struck the Okhmatdit hospital, Ukraine’s Necker, where thousands of young patients from across the country have been treated for cancer, serious illnesses… and, for two years, war-related trauma.
