This Sunday, BBVA Mexico users reported failures in the bank’s services in both the mobile application, ATMs and card payments.
“We are working on the situation that arises so that you can carry out your operations as soon as possible, we appreciate your understanding and we ask you to support us to try it during the day”, says the bank’s message to its users through social networks.
Clients of BBVA Mexico report that they cannot make transfers through the application, in addition to having shared videos showing that the ATMs show a Error message.
“Thank you BBVA for leaving me stranded without being able to pay at the gas station”says another of the messages.
It should be remembered that last Sunday, September 12, BBVA Mexico had failures throughout the day, a situation that the bank attributed as a failure in updating its systems and which is currently under investigation by the National Baking and Stock Commission (CNBV).
Last Friday, at a press conference, the general director of BBVA Mexico, Osuna, said that they continue to provide information to the CNBV about the case and that until now the review by the authority is being maintained.
“We delivered our report on October 4. We are in the review process with the commission. There have been some questions, we are answering. We are in the natural term of what a review of a situation like this implies and that is quite normal in terms of any review that the authority makes us. We are in the process and in the times established by the regulations ”, said the manager.
