The Trump Media and Technology Group holds its CEO. On Monday, the organization created by the former US president to attack web giants and launch its social Truth network announced that it had recruited Devin Nunes. This staunch defender of Donald Trump – from the investigation into Russia to his double impeachment – will therefore leave the American Congress to take up his new functions next January.

“Representative Devin Nunes is a fighter and a leader. He will make a great CEO of TMTG. He knows that we must prevent the leftist media and Big Tech from destroying the freedoms that make America a great country, ”said the former US president.
Complaint against Twitter
In 2017, Devin Nunes was forced to step back from the House Intelligence Committee as part of the probe into Russia and Donald’s campaign because he was accused of sharing classified information with the ex-president.
In 2019, he tried, unsuccessfully, to sue Twitter, accusing the censorship network and criticizing it for not deactivating parody accounts posting messages that he deemed “defamatory”.
By taking the head of the Trump media group, Devin Nunes will have to oversee the launch of the Truth social network, which is to open to the general public by the end of the first quarter of 2022.
