The famous Colombian stylist Mauricio Leal and his mother were murdered, according to the prosecution

On the morning of this Tuesday, sources from the Attorney General’s Office of Colombia confirmed to El Tiempo that the death of the renowned stylist Mauricio Leal and from his mother it was classified as a homicide and it was ruled out that it had been a homicide – suicide.

This conclusion was reached based on the reports of the researchers and the results of Legal Medicine, toxicology reports, DNA and other aspects that were advanced based on the autopsies.

The death of the renowned stylist Mauricio Leal Hernández, 47 years old, and his mother Marleny Hernández Tabares, 67, shook the entertainment world. It happened on November 22, after the bodies were found in the house they shared in an exclusive sector of La Calera.

The Technical Investigation Body (CTI) of the Prosecutor’s Office assumed the investigation and has been carrying out a series of criminalistic processes whose results have been verified to put together the puzzle about the events surrounding the death of the couple.

Based on the declaration of the deaths as homicide, the group of investigators will focus on identifying and locating the possible perpetrators of the double crime.

Initially, the investigation had focused on a homicide – suicide, in which Mauricio He could have killed his mother, a situation that close to the family denied, alluding that the bond between the two was very strong.

In fact, the investigators found the bodies in the room of the mother of Mauricio, on the bed and next to him a letter, apparently of suicide, “I love you, forgive me, I can’t take it anymore (…) I leave everything, with all my love forgive me, mom 11 24 ″, it is read in a notebook sheet, written by hand.

At the crime scene, the Marleny hernandez, the investigators found a sharps, which became the weapon that would have been used to assassinate Mauricio and his mom.

Until now, a hypothesis on the trigger for the double homicide has not been released, which if it is clear is that a robbery is ruled out, so it remains to assess whether there is an economic situation involved or even some revenge.
