The price of the US dollar in Colombia operated this Wednesday, due to a significant decline in the dollar in international markets, while the attention of the markets focused on the talks between representatives of Russia and Ukraine that began in Turkey.

The price of the dollar in Colombia for this Wednesday, March 30, 2022 is 3,755 Colombian pesos, according to Reuters data.

In the previous session, at the regional level, most Latin American currencies rose at the close of Tuesday, driven by a significant decline in the dollar in international markets, while the attention of the markets was focused on the talks between representatives of Russia and Ukraine that started in Turkey.

According to the Reuters agency, Ukrainian and Russian negotiators met in Turkey for the first face-to-face talks, in which kyiv seeks a ceasefire without compromising territory or sovereignty.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan welcomed delegations from both sides, saying “stopping this tragedy” was up to them.

The dollar index, which compares the greenback to a basket of six major currencies, lost around 0.66%.
