The price of the US dollar in Colombia operates on the rise this Thursday, due to a greater aversion to risk assets, which boosted the dollar in global markets.

The price of the dollar in Colombia for this Thursday, June 2, 2022 is 3,803.5 Colombian pesos, according to data from Bloomberg.
According to the Reuters agency, the euro moved away from a one-month high against the dollar on Wednesday, while the greenback strengthened, driven by rising Treasury bond yields amid renewed concerns about world inflation.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against six pairs including the euro, rose 0.68% to 102.45, extending Tuesday’s gains, when data showed that consumer inflation in the area euro soared to a record.
Markets have priced in a 50 basis point interest rate hike at Federal Reserve meetings this month and next, in line with what policymakers have signaled, but the outlook further that’s why they are dark.
