Dollar in Peru: What is the exchange rate for today, Sunday December 11

The dollar price American in Peru opened with a slight rise this Sunday, December 11, after the dismissal of Pedro Castillo and the inauguration of Dina Boluarte.

The exchange rate began the day at S/ 3.8345 per dollara slight fall of 0.06% compared to Saturday’s close of S/ 3.8370, according to the Bloomberg agency.

So far this year, the greenback accumulates a decline of 3.86% compared to the last price of 2021, at S / 3,991.

In the parallel market or the main exchange houses, the dollar is bought at S/ 3.79 and sold at S/ 3.90, according to data from the portal cuantoestaeldolar.pe.

The plenary session of Congress held a session this Wednesday -at 3 in the afternoon- to debate the third motion for presidential vacancy against Pedro Castillo, due to an alleged moral incapacity.

Castillo’s situation is further complicated, because this Tuesday the former head of the National Intelligence Directorate (DINI) José Luis Fernández Latorre, pointed out that the president’s nephew, Rubdel Oblitas Paredes, asked him for cash to prevent the issuance of a story and hire a Russian intelligence adviser.
