Check your closets. On Monday, the government website Rappel conso released a recall sheet for a 500-gram bag of whole basmati rice. The Taureau Ailé brand product is distributed throughout France by the Carrefour, Auchan, Galec, Cora, Intermarché and Casino brands from February 7, 2022.
We are talking about only one batch: L 2021F, with barcode 3038354593302. Expiration date until January 1, 2025.

COMPLETE selection of Basmati – Winged BullRisks: exceeding permitted pesticide limits

The presence of a banned pesticide at the site is questionable. The risk borne by the consumer is “exceeding the permitted limits for the use of pesticides,” Rappel conso points out.
People who have this product are asked not to consume it and return it to the point of sale where it was purchased. The brand will then have to make a return or exchange. “For any additional information, you can call 09.70.80.91.12,” the government website states.
