Be careful if you use makeup concealer. Beauty brand Essence is recalling a batch of its Camouflage + Matte Concealer product in shade #50 “warm toast,” Rappel Conso reported Wednesday.
This cosmetic product was sold from March 21 to May 16 throughout France in many supermarkets. This applies to Auchan stores, as well as Carrefour in Calais (Pas de Calais) and Super U in Lodeve (Hérault). Foreign e-commerce sites shipping to France may also have sold the product before it was taken off the market.

The reason for the recall is the presence of the bacterium “pseudomonas aeruginosa” in product lot numbers 0DBCB and 0DBCA. This bacterium can cause disease under certain circumstances, especially in immunocompromised people.
The reason for the rejection is the Essence brand itself, they clearly mention this on their website. If you are the owner of this product, please stop using it and return it to the point of sale.
