Know in this note the price of the dollar in Peru today, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, according to official information released by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).
Yesterday, Monday June 12the US currency closed in the local market with a value of S/3.65000.05% compared to Friday’s close, which was at S/3.6520, according to the issuing entity.
In accordance with Fabiola GutierrezForeign Exchange trader at Renta4 SAB, US$ 216 million were traded in the market at an average price of S/ 3.6545.
He also pointed out that Latin American currencies opened mixed before a week of relevant indicators for the market.
“Tomorrow the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) for May will be published and on Wednesday the decision on interest rates by the Federal Reserve will be announced. The probabilities have centered on a bet for the restrictive monetary policy pause, although not definitive since inflation still remains at a high level with respect to its objective”Gutierrez noted.
