Fuel: TotalEnergies maintains price caps for diesel and gasoline.

Cupping continues. TotalEnergies continues its commitment to freeze the price of its fuel at 1.99 euros per liter in France until the end of 2023. “In the current context of rising fuel prices, TotalEnergies continues to fulfill its obligations to its customers,” the French Group writes in a press release published today.

“Today, 2,200 filling stations out of 3,400 have already taken advantage of this measure, as the price of at least one fuel is currently capped at 1.99 euros per litre,” the energy company says. In February, TotalEnergies announced that from March 1 until the end of the year, the price of petrol and diesel will be capped at €1.99 at all of its 3,400 stations.

Creation of jobs for gas station workers.

But that’s not all. “In 2024, 300 filling stations will welcome attendants,” says TotalEnergies, explaining that it wants to promote “closeness” with its “motorist customers.”

And this year, the group decided to reopen 20 rural stations in France. An investment strategy “in the countryside to maintain a network of gas stations serving the French locally.”
