Wall Street opens in green and the Dow Jones rises 0.13% after yesterday’s decline

Wall Street opened this Wednesday in green and the Dow Jones Industrial Average, its main indicator, rose 0.13%, after having closed yesterday its worst day since last March.

Five minutes after the start of operations on the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones stood at 33,664 units and the selective S&P 500 gained 0.36%, up to 4,289 points.

For its part, the Nasdaq market composite index, in which the main technology companies are listed, grew by 0.48%, up to 13,126 points.

Everything indicates that investors are choosing this Wednesday to take profits taking advantage of the bargains left by yesterday’s big drop yesterday, although the tranquility that comes from the political sphere when the bipartisan plan in the Senate that will avoid the closure of the Government may also have had an influence. .

Even so, it seems difficult to reverse the downward trend that marks the monthly close of September (a month traditionally low in movements), with drops in the three indicators, the largest being those of the Nasdaq (above 5%).

Among the reasons for these decreases is that the Federal Reserve (Fed) He did not make his next steps clear, but he hinted that he will resume the pace of rate increases to curb inflation that is being felt especially in the real estate market and mortgage prices.

But there are also signs that point to optimism, such as the strength of the labor market, wage increases and the high level of savings among consumers, as analyst Rob Haworth points out on the CNBC portal.

By sector, green numbers also dominated, with the largest gains for energy (1.15%) and technology (0.58%).

Among the 30 Dow Jones stocks, same bullish climate, with the largest increases for Amgen (1.29%), Chevron (1.01%) and Dow (0.72%).
