The last month of the calendar year marks the beginning of emergency assistance for victims of domestic violence, the abolition of the fine system for new pensioners from the private sector, the payment of a Christmas bonus and even a bicycle bonus.

Ambulance for victims of domestic violence

From December 1, a victim of domestic violence who has filed a complaint or a protection order will be able to apply to the Family Benefit Fund (CAF) and receive assistance in the amount of 243 to 1,337 euros, depending on salary and number of children. interested party.

This direct assistance, paid within three to five days, should enable victims to cover their costs in the event of shelter or separation. “Obviously, this is not just financial assistance. This means that she is accompanied, supported, has all the government services to ensure that the departure is a real departure and that she does not return home,” Auror Berger explained on France Inter.

Cancellation of the fine for additional pension

The malus system, which results in a 10% reduction in the old-age pension for 3 years or until age 67 for supplementary pensions for pensioners from the Agirc-Arrco plan, will be abolished from December 1 for new pensioners. For employees who retired before December 1, this system will end on April 1, 2024.

Christmas bonus payment

As every December, the Christmas bonus will be paid to more than two million French households through Pôle emploi, CAF or MSA. This bonus, which ranges from €152 for a single person to over €500 for a family with five children, will be paid automatically, without any action, between 15 December 2023 and early January 2024.

A bit new this year: additional assistance to the Christmas bonus should be automatically paid by the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) to single-parent families in the amount of between €115 and €200.

End of the bike bonus

There’s only a month left to take advantage of the bike bonus. Thanks to this system, which expires on December 31, 2023, it is possible to receive assistance of up to 150 euros for the purchase of a new bicycle and up to 2,000 euros for the purchase of an electric cargo bike, extended, folding or adapted. in a situation of disability. This system applies to households with a basic tax income per unit of less than €14,089 and, for the highest premiums, those whose tax income per unit is less than €6,358.

From December 20, the post-baccalaureate education information platform Parcoursup opens, allowing students to explore more than 23,000 training courses. Deadlines for tax payments

People who want to correct their tax return must do so by December 6th. The deadline to change the 60 percent tax credit, which provides some benefit for hiring domestic workers, paying donations or union dues, is Dec. 13.
