This is full-time training, because we must at all costs understand how teamwork works, adapt to the project mode, and be able to think as if we were in a workshop,” says David Cornilo.

With a universal foundation, the future technician must develop his ability to find solutions that not only solve problems, but also create systems that meet the expectations of his company’s users. It is a job that combines precision and rigor with creativity and listening.

Great opportunities for women

Since I needed to earn a living, I worked part-time at various supermarkets until I became what we call a general employee. But that was enough for me. I needed something stable and the desire to start a real career change,” emphasizes the 28-year-old student, who is now looking for a work-study program. Computer science has always been a passion. Many friends work in this sector and told me that I could do it too. »

As a result, she continues her studies, receiving a salary from Pôle emploi. His training doesn’t cost him a cent. Plans further: “In two to three years, I hope to work in a company, have a permanent contract and become a network administrator.”

“We have an 85 to 90% success rate in the exam. It provides a bac+2 diploma and guarantees approximately 90% integration into the professional world. Moreover, students then decide to continue their studies and other preparations,” concludes David Cornilot.

If you are attracted to this profession and you are a woman, know that this profession is open to you. The challenge is enormous for companies struggling to attract women into all IT or technology-related careers.
