Angry farmers: photos of rubble everywhere in France

It has been more than a week since the anger of those who work the land and livestock is growing. Farmers mobilized across France are demanding higher wages, reduced administrative burdens and lower environmental standards. Lockdowns are happening everywhere in France. Several motorways are blocked in Ile-de-France and the prime minister is expected to make announcements this Friday afternoon during his trip to Haute-Garonne, where traffic has begun.

The A1 motorway connecting Paris with Northern Europe is no longer accessible in both directions.

Despite the arrival of Prime Minister Gabriel Attal this Friday, Haute-Garonne is not gaining momentum. The A64 motorway is blocked at Carbonne.

Since Thursday, farmers from Haute-Garonne have been blocking access to the A64 motorway in Carbonne to denounce their profession's concerns in the face of rising costs and increasingly strict environmental standards. Gabriel Attal is due to receive national representatives of the FNSEA, but demonstrators south of Toulouse are still demanding that the prime minister arrive in Occitania.
