To explain this return to grace, let us return for a moment to a not so distant period. In March 2020, the first lockdown led to a sudden surge in computer sales, fueled by companies switching to remote working and people who felt the days of isolation would turn into long weeks and needed a screen at home. “We went from one computer per family to one computer per person in the home,” recalls Patrice Rene, director of PC products at HP France, with some nostalgia.
