He, in 15th century Paris, is unaffected by the sale of contraband cigarettes; his mother in Porte de Montreuil, his sister in Clichy (Haute-Seine), yes. Therefore, this Monday, January 5, he responded to the call of the Syndical of Tobacco Sellers of the Ile-de-France to carry out a cutting operation.

All day, about fifty tobacco sellers traveled around the Ile-de-France to draw attention to the “scourge” of selling smuggled cigarettes. “We want to focus on what is happening in the region,” warns Philippe Aloz, the union’s president. The illegal parallel market is rapidly developing, and tobacco stores are losing up to 30, or even 40% of their turnover. This is becoming a real social phenomenon. »
