This morning the President of the Republic is due to meet with agricultural unions before opening the Agricultural Exhibition. He initially floated the idea of holding a debate with them at the Gates of Versailles, but several unions pulled out due to an invitation sent by the Elysée environmental collective Earth Rising, forcing the head of state to revert to his proposal on Friday evening.
