New nationwide product recall. The Auchan brand’s rustic terrine has been recalled across France due to suspected listeria, government website Rappel Conso reported on Thursday.
The recall specifically affects the product “Le Charcutier: old-fashioned rustic terrine” weighing 200. From April 20 to April 30, it was sold in Auchan stores and all retail chains that distribute Auchan brand products.
Stop using the product and return it to the store.
This reminder therefore applies to the entire French territory. Customers who purchased them are asked to stop using them and return them to the store. Then a refund will be possible.
The bacterium Listeria monocytogenes found in this product may cause listeriosis, a rare disease that can be severe. Those most at risk are the elderly, pregnant women and newborns.
