The price of the dollar in Venezuela was above 4 digital bolivars this Friday, amid declarations by Chavismo that it will give the opposition “a tumble” in the regional elections.

At the opening, the exchange rate was quoted at 4.55 bolivars per dollar in the parallel or informal market, according to data from the platform DolarToday.

The vice president of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured this Thursday, during a campaign event in the east of the country, that Chavismo will give “a roll” to his opponents in regional and local elections, that will be held on November 21.

“They won’t come back, but we have to keep them from coming back. And how are we going to stop them from coming back? We’re going to give them a movie bang on November 21”, Assured the number two of Chavismo.

Cabello insisted on the need to “win decisively” this electoral process in which 3,082 positions will be elected in total, distributed in 23 governors, 335 mayors, 253 legislators to the Legislative Councils and 2,471 councilors.

“We must go further, we must win decisively, so that no one in the world can say anything about the elections in Venezuela. And to the one who says, let the evidence itself bury its indications”, He specified.
