Morat publishes his first single of the year ‘”Lost call”

Colombian band, Morat releases its first single this year ‘Llamada Perdida’, a project where they show a renewed image and a musical evolution enriched by their artistic maturity.

“There are songs that are like lifting a torch in the middle of the night. This is ‘Missed Call’, it is a sign that there is something left to say. Missed Call is like a guide on how to be the worst ex-partner in the world and is dedicated to all the people who were left with nothing to say when a relationship ended”, pointed out the members of the band.

‘Llamada Perdida’, unlike other Morat projects, all the instruments were recorded in an analog system at the Big Bag Sound studio (LA), the voices were recorded in Bogotá and it is composed by the band itself together with Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres who together with Juan Pablo Isaza have been in charge of the production.

This theme marks a new production style by Morat, much more minimalist and with an evident exploration of sounds from the 80’s. Despite the fact that there are much fewer elements than in previous projects, the band retains the power and energy that has always characterized the band.

The video for ‘Llamada Perdida’ is a return to the aesthetics of the band. It was recorded in Madrid and is directed by MENDO who are very excited about the video, which is an important commitment to turn the band’s aesthetics around.

MORAT, since they joined as a group in 2011, the four from Colombia have forged a career consolidated by the ability to make hits, their credibility as composers and musicians and their great live performance.

Everything that will come this year with MORAT will be spectacular and we will be able to observe growth, evolution both musically and in terms of image where we will see that the band reaches a higher level, with a change in all its artistic facets.
