Brian May: The Queen guitarist’s second solo album will be reissued in April

“Another World”, the second solo album of the iconic Brian Mayguitarist of Queen, will be reissued on April 22.

The album, originally published in 1998, was out of print to date in any format and is the second installment in the “Gold Series” remaster series, after having also released “Back to the Light”, from 1992.

The feature has been personally supervised by May, along with co-producers Justin Shirley-Smith and Kris Fredriksson, Queen art designer Richard Gray and Grammy Award winner Bob Ludwig, who has been in charge of remastering the entire series. .

The instrumental work on the album was carried out by May himself., alongside collaborators such as Cozy Powell and Steve Ferrone on drums, Neil Murray and Ken Taylor on bass, Spike Edney on keyboard, and Jamie Moses on guitar. Also participating were John Edwards and Jeff Rich, from Status Quo, and Taylor Hawkins, from Foot Fighters.

The first single, which can already be heard on digital platforms, is “On My Way Up”. “’Another World’ has been reborn exactly as it was when it was created,” May explained in statements to Universal Records.

Considered one of the best guitarists in history, the 74-year-old May released two solo albums outside of Queen, “Back to the light” (1992) and “Another World” (1998). Also, he released “Star Fleet Project”, a mini album, in 1983.
