Greeicy released its album “La Carta”, with collaborations with Alejandro Sanz and Mike Bahía

After the successful launch of “Att: Amor” with Mike Bahia, and the announcement of his long-awaited tour “Amantes Tour” in cities like Cali, Bogotá and Medellín, the wait is over and finally, Greeicy He has just released his new album: “La Carta”.

With this production, which contains the single “Tóxico” as a focus track, the singer also celebrates a double premiere. On the one hand, the release of his album, and on the other, his leading role in the long-awaited youth series “Ritmo Salvaje” on Netflix.

“La Carta” is a personal album of the artist, in which she gives her soul to all the faithful audience I was looking forward to receiving your new music. With each of the singles, Greeicy hopes to reach more people who continue to spread harmony and happiness in their lives.

The Colombian singer-songwriter went through all kinds of moments: extreme happiness, connection with music at another level, emotional despair, disappointment, anguish, a thousand unanswered questions and many found truths, and In the middle of each wait, magical things happened to her that reconnected her with the disk.

For Greeicy, “The Letter” came to teach her a lot. He defined this part of the process as “a master in patience”. “It is an album that has been finishing for almost 3 years, before the pandemic and for many reasons, with sense and many without sense, it was postponed until today”, said.

“So it’s a record that I’ve been through all moods with. I have been disappointed, I have lost hope and strength but in the middle of the road, the same ‘letter’ came with its magic to save me and reconnect me with what I am and with what I love”, he added.

On a musical level, It is an album that saw Greeicy grow in many ways, in addition to giving her soul in each sound, in each letter and in the small details, she got involved like never before in the compositions from which songs full of magic emerge.

Andrew Torres and Mauricio Rengifo they fronted and co-produced many songs on the album. Also, producers like La Créme, Dejota, Gotex, Dj Maff, Juan Pablo Vega and the golden minds, also played an important part in the creation and elaboration of this album. Additionally, he worked with Alejandro Sanz’s producer on the collaboration “Away With Me” and with the entire Prophetic Culture team that was in charge of giving magic to “I believed you”.

The single with which this new album is presented is the song entitled “Toxic”which was born from a very close experience. “I felt like writing a song about this situation that is repeated in many relationships, which are not able to give them an end, even knowing the damage it causes them. I think the lyrics of the song are clear and although I wish it were not so, I know that many people will feel identified “he concluded.

Regarding the audiovisual part, Greeicy’s followers will be able to find the videos they already know and also together with Mike they developed in a simple and very heartfelt way, clean, natural and full of love pieces in each song.
