“Puss in Boots 2″, with Antonio Banderas, presents its first trailer

Dreamworks Animation has released today the first images of “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish”, sequel to the famous 2011 film, “Puss in Boots”, immortalized by the voice of Antonio Banderaswho repeats the character eleven years later, funnier and more Andalusian than ever.

In the film, which will be released on October 7, the cat is going to discover that his passion for adventures and challenges is taking its toll on him.

In the trailer, the cat, who introduces himself by all his names (“feline swordsman”, “the macho cat” or “the cat who whispered to milk”, he says with a wink while licking a glass), has He has to face a huge woody monster that he defeats, but not without toll: he has spent his penultimate life.

When the doctor informs him that he only has one left, the moments in which he lost the previous lives flash before his eyes.. “When you only have one life left, everything is more special”, It becomes clear to the cat, who decides to embark on an extraordinary journey and fulfill one last wish: to get their lives back.

To do this, he will have to embark on the greatest adventure he has ever experienced so far.

Thus, he will embark on an epic journey through the Black Forest in search of the mythical Star of Desire in order to recover his lost lives. Also, with only one of her left, she will have no choice but to drink from the cup of humility and enlist the help of her former partner and nemesis, the captivating Kitty Fluffy Paws, whom she voices in the original Salma Hayek version.

The trailer reveals a war of “cute” looks between Kitty and the cat as delicious as the ones that made Banderas’ character famous.

The film is directed by Joel Crawford and produced by Mark Swift, the creative team leader behind another DreamWorks Animation hit, “The Croods: A New Era,” while executive produced by Chris Meledandri, founder and CEO of illumination.

The character of Puss in Boots was first seen in the 2004 film “Shrek 2” and his success was immediate, taking over every scene in which he appeared.

El Gato returned to co-star in two other installments of Shrek before having a solo film. He has also starred in multiple DreamWorks Animation videos, shorts, and series.
