Diego Dibós presented his song “Astronaut” a year after defeating COVID-19

Diego Dibos is back on the music scene a year after overcoming COVID-19. The national singer-songwriter presented a preview of what will be his new record album that will include 12 songs.

“Astronauta” is how this new single calls itself, which was recorded in Dibós’s own studio. “The song brings a message and concept that represent the trance that Diego went through when he fell into the COVID-19 networks and his rebirth a year ago, precisely on April 23”was noted in a press release.

The song is accompanied by an animated music video, based on the drawings created by Juan Diego, son of Diego Dibós.

“I am very excited about this second opportunity. Seeing my children grow up and them seeing me grow old is something I didn’t want to miss. With my music, I always want to give sincere and positive messages”, commented the also Peruvian musician who started in the group TK.

On the other hand, the Peruvian singer-songwriter and producer continues to create successful soundtracks for the main Peruvian series, movies, and soap operas, such as the ballad “Si me ves Llorar de alegría” that plays on the TV series “Maricucha.”

It is worth mentioning that Diego has not recorded a solo album since 2013.
