The trailer is now available “Just like me” the new film produced by Tondero in alliance with Cineplanet that will be released throughout Peru on June 16. The launch was made during the press conference of the tape that he made last Tuesday.

The event was attended by its protagonists Carlos Alcántara, who returns to the big screen leading a national production after three years, along with Daniela Camaiora in her first leading role for the cinema and Miguel Valladares Executive Director of Tondero.

“Igualita a mi” is a comedy directed by Colombian producer and screenwriter Felipe Martínez Amador. who knew how to adapt the original story to the national context and achieve a film that will captivate the whole family.

“For me it has been a pleasure to work with Daniela, she is a great discovery for comedy, she is very funny and intense and that helped a lot for her role in the film. My character in the film is that of an old boy who likes to go out at night to have fun and on one of those outings he meets Daniela’s character. For me, this role has been very special and I identify a lot because I always wanted to have a daughter, so it became a reality even if it was only in fiction”, says Carlos Alcantara

“Igualita a mi” is based on the Argentine film of the same and tells the story of Fredy (Carlos Alcántara), who is a 48-year-old bachelor, a womanizer, without children or commitments and who lives as if he were an eternal adolescent, until one night he meets Aylín (Daniela Camaiora) who will turn his whole world and lifestyle upside down.

“At first I couldn’t believe it, Miguel Valladares called me and it was quite a surprise to have my first leading role in the cinema and together with one of the most important actors there is, so I said yes instantly. Filming has been a learning process for me, Carlos is a great colleague, an incredible professional from whom I have learned a lot. I am happy”, comments Daniela Camaiora

The cast of actors and actresses who give life to the different characters in the story of “Igualita a mi” have names like Andrea Montenegro, Gonzalo Torres, Cécica Bernásconi, Maju Mantilla, the great Mabel Duclós, Gustavo Bueno, Anahí De Cárdenas, Victor Prada, Andrea Luna, Melissa Paredes along with important figures of cinema, theater and television.

This is the first of all the projects that Tondero plans to present in 2022 and the first months of 2023. “Igualita a mi” is getting ready to be the favorite movie of the whole family, starting this June 16 in all theaters in Peru.
