Selma Blair reveals in her autobiography to have been raped “several times”

Selma Blair reveals in her autobiography Mean Baby how she was abused by several men throughout her life, starting with the dean of the private school she attended as a teenager.

“We hugged. It was too long, too calm and too quiet. His hand went to my lower back, tracing the space just above my tailbone. His lips were on my mouth. I thought “Please. Please don’t go under my pants, my school dress code approved Ralph Lauren khaki pants, which I had neatly tucked a plaid shirt into. .You’re an adult and I love you, please don’t put your hand in my pants.” But he did. It was a simple thing. He didn’t rape me. He didn’t threaten me. But he broke me. Nothing ever happened again, but I never felt safe,” she wrote in the book.

Calm but shameful

Mean Baby also reveals other painful episodes for the star, including his past addiction to alcohol. Selma Blair explains that she was repeatedly raped while under the influence of drink.

“I don’t know if the two raped me. One of them certainly did,” she wrote, recounting one incident in particular, at university, after a very drunken party. “I made myself very small and silent and waited for it to end. I wish I could say that what happened to me that night was an anomaly, but it’s not. I was raped, many times, because I was too drunk to say the words “Please. Stop”. Only this time was violent. I came out of each event calm but ashamed, ”explains the star of Hellboy.

Selma Blair, who revealed to suffer from multiple sclerosis, decided to focus all her energy on her son Arthur. “I feel much more confident in life. As long as my son is okay and I’m not on death row or in immediate danger, I can probably do whatever I want,” she adds in her book.

Mean Baby due out on May 16.
