Leave “Fantastic Four”
As published by the Deadline medium, Watts’ decision is due to a personal situation of the director himself: “He just needs a break from the superhero realm after completing the trilogy of spider-man with Tom Holland and Zendaya.”
Watts has spent most of the last decade directing and promoting the Spider-Man movies, having been hired for “Cop Car,” a low-budget independent thriller that premiered at Sundance 2015.
